Custom Wet Bar

  These pictures show a custom wet bar that Vaile Construction built during a basement finish project.  This full wet bar features a beer fridge, wine fridge, and sink as well as a picture niche and custom bartop and backsplash.  The countertop is corian, and the backsplash is glass tile in various colors.  The track lighting above the bartop allows directional lighting to highlight specific areas while still keeping the mood of the space mellow.

  The bartop is dark maple, with inlaid bills and coins from around the world.  The coins and bills were set in an epoxy finish that not only made the bartop smooth, but made it virtually indestructible.  By using the epoxy, the coins apear to float in the bartop, and it gives the surface a perfectly smooth, 3-D look.
